What if the recipient does not have medical insurance? If not, then a lifetime of medical treatment will once again be on the taxpayers' dime. And I would like to suggest that the donor was raised by wolves if he didn't understand the consequences of his actions.

While the people of Louisiana have my deepest sympathy, here in south central Tennessee we also had a tornado this week. Franklin County lost 90 homes and 5 businesses. We also had one fatality.

Insurance costs continue to rise because at some point we decided that death is obscene. We are willing to endure just about anything to prolong, by even a few months, our life and the lives of our loved ones.

In today's economy, this should not be a problem. The economy tanked two years ago and any woman who is pregnant today should have her head examined. Never mind needing to work or being a primary bread winner. Pregnancy is optional.

Blondiesez: Chronic diseases and age are not optional. We will all reach that point in our lives and we all have to support ourselves. On the other hand, pregnancy is optional.
